Operating Room Passageway
The Boxer has two dedicated operating rooms and four other operating areas for a total of 6 operating room areas.

Use of the surgical section during peacetime is primarily for surgical emergencies as well as common surgical procedures such as hernia repairs, appendectomy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

Minimal reconstructive surgery is available on this second echelon medical facility.
